Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
