He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 and my tongue fluent 27 that they may understand my words. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 By him confirm my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
