We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
