With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
