And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 they, too, gave the lie to all Our messages: and thereupon We took them to task as only the Almighty, who determines all things, can take to task. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
