And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
