The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
