The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
