And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
