It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
