The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
