And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
