Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ha Mim. 1 The sending down of the Book is from God the All-mighty, the All-knowing, 2 The forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination. 3 None argue concerning the revelations of Allah save those who disbelieve, so let not their turn of fortune in the land deceive thee (O Muhammad). 4 The people of Nuh (Noah) and the confederates after them denied (their Messengers) before these, and every (disbelieving) nation plotted against their Messenger to seize him, and disputed by means of falsehood to refute therewith the truth. So I seized them (with punishment), and how (terrible) was My punishment! 5 And thus hath the Word of thy Lord been justified on those who disbelieve: that they shall be the fellows of the Fire. 6 Those who bear the power and those around Him celebrate the praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask protection for those who believe: Our Lord! Thou embracest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefore grant protection to those who turn (to Thee) and follow Thy way, and save them from the punishment of the hell: 7 Our Lord! and make them enter the gardens of perpetuity which Thou hast promised to them and those who do good of their fathers and their wives and their offspring, surely Thou are the Mighty, the Wise. 8 Protect them from evil; and whosoever You preserve from evil on that Day shall have surely received Your mercy. This will be the great triumph." 9
