Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Say thou; I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak. 1 against the evil of whatever He has created. 2 “And from the evil of the matter that darkens when it sets.” 3 And from the evil of malignant witchcraft, 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
