The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
