Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and covered them with torment. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
