Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
