The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
