Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
