And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him). 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
