But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. 70 See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?- 71 And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat: 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Beholdest not man that We have created him from a sperm? Yet lo! he is a manifest disputer? 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. 80 Is the One who has created the heavens and the earth not able to create another creature like the human being? He certainly has the power to do so. He is the Supreme Creator and is All-knowing. 81 Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is! 82 So glory be to Him who has control over all things. It is to Him that you will all be brought back. 83
