So by oath of the things you see. 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
