Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
