Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
