Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
