Say: "God is sufficient as witness between me and you." He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. It is those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God who will perish. 52 And they urge you to hasten the punishment; and if a time had not been fixed, the punishment would have certainly come upon them; and it will indeed come upon them suddenly whilst they are unaware. 53 They bid thee hasten on the doom, when lo! hell verily will encompass the disbelievers 54 On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: "Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!" 55 O My servants who have believed, indeed My earth is spacious, so worship only Me. 56 Every being shall taste death, then it is to Us that you shall be sent back. 57 And those who believe and work righteous works - them We shall surely settle in lofty dwellings of the Garden whereunder the rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers. 58 Who persevere and place their trust in their Lord. 59 How many an animal there is that does not carry about its sustenance. Allah provides sustenance to them and to you. He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 60 And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 61 God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. God has full knowledge of all things. 62 If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense. 63
