And to whomsoever We give long life, We bend him over in His constitution; what, do they not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see that, among the things which Our hands have fashioned, We have created for them cattle of which they are the masters, 71 And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat: 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open. 76 Does not man see that We created him from a drop. Yet there he is, flagrantly contentious, 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 Who giveth you out of the green tree fire, and lo! ye kindle therewith. 80 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
