Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
