Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
