And certainly We have repeated (warnings) in this Quran that they may be mindful, but it does not add save to their aversion. 41 Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): If there were other gods along with Him, as they say, then had they sought a way against the Lord of the Throne. 42 Glory be to Him! Exalted above all that they say! 43 The seven heavens, the earth, and whosoever in them, exalt Him. There is nothing that does not exalt with His praise, but you do not understand their exaltation. Surely, He is Clement, Forgiving. 44 And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition. 45 And We put covers over their hearts and deafness in their ears that they should not understand it. So when you invoke your Lord alone in the Qur'an they turn their backs and walk away. 46 We are most knowing of how they listen to it when they listen to you and [of] when they are in private conversation, when the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic." 47 Consider what they have called you. They have certainly gone astray and cannot find the right path. 48 And they say: "When we are bones and fragments (destroyed), should we really be resurrected (to be) a new creation?" 49 Say, "[yes] even if you turned to stones or iron, 50 ۞ Or [any] creation of that which is great within your breasts." And they will say, "Who will restore us?" Say, "He who brought you forth the first time." Then they will nod their heads toward you and say, "When is that?" Say, "Perhaps it will be soon - 51 on a Day when He will call you, and you will answer by praising Him, thinking all the while that you have tarried [on earth] but a little while." 52
