'Lord, open my breast,' said Moses, 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my speech, 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 "And make him share my task: 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And remember You much. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Then your sister followed you, and said (to the people who had retrieved the child): 'Should I guide you to a person who can nurse him?' We thus brought you back to your mother that her heart may be cheered, and she may not grieve. (Remember) when you killed a man We saved you from anguish; and tested and steeled you (in other ways). Afterwards you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian; then you came up to the measure, 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
