If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful? 73 And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped! 74 They are not able to give them succour; whereas they shall be against them host brought forward. 75 So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
