The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
