Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
