The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
