The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
