The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
