Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay, [O men,] but you [are lured away from God whenever you are tempted to] give the lie to [God's] Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
