The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A burning fire. 11
