▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
