The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 and spreading shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
