No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
