Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 and by the self accusing soul (that you will certainly be resurrected). 2 Deemest man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 But man desires to continue in sin. 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon is eclipsed 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 on that Day will man exclaim "Whither to flee?" 10 By no means! there shall be no place of refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 Man shall on that day be informed of what he sent before and (what he) put off. 13 In fact man is a witness against himself, 14 even though he offer his excuses. 15 O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), do not cause your tongue to move along with the Qur’an in order to learn it faster. 16 Lo! upon Us (resteth) the putting together thereof and the reading thereof. 17 But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): 18 Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 looking towards their Lord; 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 thou mightest think the Calamity has been wreaked on them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 and when he thinks it is the time of departure 28 And one shank is entangled with the other shank. 29 upon that Day the driving shall be to your Lord. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
