Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 and the severally severing 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
