And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
