The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
