Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
