Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
