The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
