Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder 1 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 2 And when the earth is spread out. 3 And it unburdens itself of all that is in it, and becomes empty. 4 And attentive to her Lord in fear! 5 O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. 6 Then as to him who is given his book in his right hand, 7 shall be called to an easy accounting, 8 And will return to his people full of joy. 9 But as for he who is given his record behind his back, 10 He will cry out for destruction 11 And he shall roast into a Blaze. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 thinking he would never revert (to Us). 14 But he will indeed! His Lord was ever watching him. 15 So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; 16 and by the night and what it enfolds, 17 and the moon when it is at the full, 18 You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter). 19 What is the matter with them, that they believe not? 20 and when the Koran is recited to them that they do not prostrate! ۩ 21 No, the unbelievers only belie, 22 Yet God has full knowledge of what they conceal [in their hearts]. 23 So give them tidings of a painful doom, 24 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. 25
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
